Passing the torch

The accumulated know-how in fine watchmaking could be lost were it not for the concern of some of its most seasoned experts to pass this knowledge on to future generations. Prestigious names are involved in this effort; Philippe Dufour, Robert Greubel and Steven Forsey reveal to veteran watchmaker Michel Boulanger how to create a top-quality timepiece. All the stages of this process, which lasts for three years, are filmed in 3D by NVP3D and will be shown to the public. The project was announced at the SIHH 2012.
